TL;DR:
New managed WordPress hosting plans, clearer choices, and a better upgrade path as your website grows. Oh, and auto updates with visual regression testing on all tiers!

Automatic updates for all

We’ve updated our managed WordPress hosting plans to make it easier to choose the right level of support, performance, and capacity for your website.

This update gives customers a clearer path as their site grows, from simple brochure-style websites to high-traffic, highly customized builds that need dedicated resources and hands-on support.

At a glance, the new lineup is built around a simple idea: start with what you need today, then scale into more storage, more monitoring, more support, and more performance as your website evolves.

And, good new! We have included automatic updates for all tiers of our hosting.

Why we made this change

Not every WordPress site needs the same hosting setup.

Some sites need secure, professionally managed hosting with core maintenance handled in the background. Others need more capacity, stronger monitoring, faster response times, or a dedicated environment. Over time, we found that our hosting options needed to reflect that more clearly.

Near real-time updates

We’re also seeing something else more often now: delaying updates is becoming riskier.

For a long time, some website owners were comfortable waiting on plugin, theme, or core updates unless something broke. That approach is getting harder to justify. Security issues are being identified faster, fixes are being released more often, and new AI tools are making it easier for bad actors to analyze code, spot known vulnerabilities, and move quickly once a weakness becomes public.

That does not mean every update should be pushed blindly with no oversight. It does mean that running an outdated WordPress environment for weeks or months at a time is becoming a much bigger liability than it used to be.

So we reworked our plans to better match how websites actually grow, and to support a more proactive approach to maintenance, security, and long-term stability.

The result is a more structured set of managed WordPress hosting plans that helps customers choose the right fit based on site size, traffic, support needs, and complexity.

What’s included in every managed plan

All of our managed WordPress hosting plans are designed for websites running on a current, supported WordPress environment.

Across the lineup, customers can expect a professionally managed foundation that helps reduce security risks and compatibility issues over time, including support for ongoing WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates.

All plans include:

  • Managed WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates
  • Built-in server caching
  • Automatic backups
  • Free SSL certificate

Other options include:

  • Site and plugin health monitoring
  • Shared or dedicated hosting environments
  • Ongoing performance and uptime monitoring
  • Upgraded RAM and storage
  • Business-hours support, with higher-priority support on higher-tier plans

What this means for current and future customers

For new customers, the new lineup makes plan selection more straightforward.

For existing customers, this structure gives us a clearer way to recommend the right hosting environment based on how a site is performing today and where it’s headed next.

It also gives us more flexibility to support websites as they grow, without forcing customers into a plan that is either too limited or more than they actually need.

Need help choosing the right plan?

Choosing hosting can feel more complicated than it should be. Our goal with this update is to simplify that process.

Whether you need a secure, professionally managed WordPress setup for a small business website or a dedicated environment for a more demanding build, the new lineup gives us a better way to match hosting to your needs.

If you’re not sure which plan makes sense for your website, we’re happy to help.
